1. Introduction: The ECCE Teacher Training Program

Hummingbird Academy is committed to elevating the standard of early childhood education (ECCE) in India. In 2014, the Academy officially registered as a unit with AICCE (All India Early Childhood Care and Education) to provide specialized teacher training.

2. Program Overview and Certification

Our core educational offering is based on a program meticulously designed by the NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training). This comprehensive curriculum is fully aligned with the principles of the National Education Policy (NEP), which mandates that only certified teachers be appointed in primary educational settings.

Offerings: The program offers trainees the opportunity to earn a Diploma and an Advanced Diploma in ECCE.

Certification: Upon successful completion, the trainee receives an official ECCE Certificate from the primary education body in New Delhi.

Equivalence: This qualification is recognized as equivalent to Nursery Teachers Training (NTT) and Montessori Teachers Training (MTT).

Career Scope: Certified teachers are qualified to work with children in the primary segment, including placements in Anganwadi Schools and various ECCE centers across the country.

3. Vocational Skill Development & Women Empowerment Initiative

Hummingbird Academy recognizes the immense talent and capability present in our community, particularly among women who may have experienced career breaks due to domestic responsibilities. Understanding that genuine women empowerment is fostered through practical vocational assistance, we launched the 45-Day Skill Development Program (SDP).

The SDP is designed to bridge the skill gap and enable educated, capable women to participate robustly in the economy.
